Absolutely amazing, comfortable holiday house is lovely, peaceful setting! I cannot express how surprised I was at this wonderful find. Great view, quality beds and linens, large shower, well-equipped kitchen and outdoor table as well. I didn’t expect WiFi or a washing machine, which were added bonuses! I highly recommend the Hokitika Holiday Home! You will not be disappointed!

Hokatika and Hokatika Gorge
We enjoyed a one night stay in this very comfortable home while visiting Hokatika and the Gorge. Our hostess met us upon arrival, and we got to meet her 2 dogs. The kitchen was well-provisioned, and the bed very comfy!

Lovely house, convenient for Hokitika
The house was spacious, extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable, shower was great, kitchen was fabulous! Location was lovely, on the river side and only a few minutes drive in to Hokitika. Owners were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

A lovely and relaxing spot, just a wee drive out of Hokitika, on the way to the Gorge and the Treetops. We had a small dog with us and she loved the garden and pestering the sheep 😄

Everything you need
Cozy, homely, quintessentially New Zealand bach. This Bach has everything that you need to have a great time, whether you are away with friends or with little ones. From the fire place, covered bbq patio, to the playground there is something for everyone to love. Would definitely like to return some time on a family holiday.

Great for what we needed
Lovely place and even better once we got the fire going. We were out doing trips for photography most of the day but was lovely to come back to this home. Stayed three nights and were really lucky with the weather. Highlight was going back road early in morni g and seeing first wver kiwi in the wild heading towards another lake for bird photos. Typically too shocked to get photos but got amazing ones all weekend. Thanks

Great place set in such a beautiful spot just minutes from Hokitika. The house was clean, warm and very spacious. Fully fenced for our dog too which was good. Looks out onto the river. Has everything you need and more. We even arrived to the curtians shut and heatpump running as we arrived late, so Thank you for that!

Have stayed here a couple of times now and always really enjoy it close to Hokitika, Lake Kaniere and the Hokitika Gorge among others. House is warm and plenty of room for everyone!

We had a wonderful stay and wished it was longer. Very clean with plenty of space and everything we needed. Lovely view of the river. it's only a short driving distance to the delightful town of Hokitika. Strongly recommended!

We enjoyed staying here, even our dog enjoyed all the space to roam (especially the river across the road). It was like a home away from home - had everything we needed. We would stay here again if we were to return back to Hokitika.

Peaceful, comfortable oasis
Beautiful property not far from Hokitika town. Very comfortable, plenty of room and all the amenities you could ever need. Beautiful views from every window, with the added bonus of some lambs in the next paddock to keep us entertained. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back.

Perfect hideaway for family
If you're looking for quiet, greenery, a lovely view and somewhere to just relax this is the place. As a family of 4 with 2 under 5 it was perfect for us. The fire was lovely and warm, enough space for the whole family to spread out, playground outback, the views were beautiful to watch the sunrise and set. Definitely a place we'd return to on the coast.
