"Clean,friendly,lovely location and nice staff. For a three star it’s definitely only just missing out on being a four star as was hard to fault and we had a great two nights there. Food was very good,staff were friendly and attentive,rooms clean and warm with nice fittings and drinks at the bar reasonably priced. Will be staying again as loved our visit and did some great walking in the local area."

"Run down hotel. Cracked walls. Unrefreshend smell to the room. Not worth 1/4 of the $$$ I paid. Getting out of the bathtub was a fall hazard. Shower pressure was low...on the ground floor I wonder what its like on the top floor. Very unpolite and discriminatory frontend staff. Had paid for a quadruple room but was given a lower occupancy room. The only positive thing was the comfy bed and having a roof over one's head."

"This is the second time we have stayed here, in two months. Once again, we cannot praise the whole experience any higher than absolutely excellent. The location for all amenities, the staff for their help in making our stay wonderful. The hotel itself, including the rooms, are to the highest standard and cleanliness. "Make sure you ask for a room upstairs and not the basement - the rooms down there are musty, the windows only kind of open, and they're just awkward all around. Beds are nice and comfortable though. Also, it's loud outside late into the night - though you are right in the middle of the bars, etc., so it's not unexpected."
