Charming home in a historic Civil War town. Families welcome!

Some guests have lovingly described it as being like visiting their Grandmother's house. The house is a "Stick" Victorian. The motif is Civil War with period antiques, artifacts, and oriental rugs. You will find large and comfortable rooms. Plenty of room to stretch out. Enjoy the full eat-in kitchen. Step out onto the back deck with a table and chairs overlooking a large backyard. Relax on the front porch and listen to trains going through town. Easy walk to restaurants, taverns, post office, and bank. The General Store is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Boat rentals are available for the asking. Hiking and bicycling trails surround the town.
