"Not worth the money.. old hotel, not renovated at all. You can only enter using the front lobby as the other doors you can only exit. Staff said so they can see who’s entering since they are across from the truck stop. Definitely not a family place to stay!"

"The hotel is a great property with great access to Old Town Albuquerque and amazing night Flamenco Tablaos ;-). Overall it was a good stay. Just a couple of things that happened during my stay that need some improvement. Power went out during my stay (it’s summer time in Albuquerque!) and I was surprised to find out there was not a generator in the property. It was resolved around 4pm so at least I didn’t have to spend the night w/o AC.
I travel a lot and stay in plenty of hotels that’s why it caught my attention that there were some house keeping rules that should have been disclosed during check in. Apparently if you leave an item on the bed, they don’t make the bed. I left a pair of socks one day - bed was not made, an iPad another day. - bed was not made, the day of the power outage (rightfully so - the bed was not made). I left in a hurry and left a room service tray in the room (plates were empty) and it was not removed by housekeeping staff neither. I spoke to the housekeeping staff and they informed me of the rules at the end of my stay. I told them to put a sign on the room to let guests know of the housekeeping rules during the stay just so we are all aware of the expectations."
"Hotel Chaco near Old Town and Sawmill Market was very comfortable and modern with high end finishes and a nice pool/patio area. "Free" valet parking is included in the Resort Fee which is in addition to your room rate. They also allowed us to self-park in the rear lot reserved for valet parking. There's free coffee in the lobby in the morning, but no other takeaway food or snacks. Breakfast is available from the Level 5 restaurant after 8am. We dined at the restaurant on the rooftop patio on a Saturday morning and there were only 2 other tables occupied. Service was friendly and food was good, but it was a ghost town. Evenings there are more lively it seems. The rooms have excellent blackout curtains, but there's design feature to be aware of: The shower has a semi frosted glass panel wall that allows anyone in the room to see into the shower. At night, that glass panel also lights up a dark room if you need to use the bathroom, as there's no discreet night light or dimmer switch in the bathroom."
"Very nice! Rooms were nice, location was great for reason I had to be In town! Restaurants food was good and bar was relaxing and bartender was excellent!"
