Once again in Roussillon

This is our third visit to this property. It is wonderful. Clean, the best equipment and furnishings, Not too large....all on one floor....faced by a field of Lavender and a field of grapes. What could be better?

Our party was 2 couples. Patrick and Nadine were amazing hosts, with a really cute dog. They were extremely kind and helpful. The rental was fantastic. Close to everything , a great base for day trips around Provence. It was well stocked, clean, and had beautiful furnishings. We ate several meals in and had wonderful evenings on the patio with games. My husband loved the pool. Would love to return. Thank you Patrick and Nadine.

Wir fühlten uns bei Patrick sehr wohl und haben uns gut erholt. Der Standort der Wohnung ist ruhig. Die Wohnung ist sauber, grosszügig und gut ausgerüstet. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Provence sind gut erreichbar. Patrick ist ein fürsorglicher Gastgeber, der die Privatsphäre respektiert.

Ein Traum im Ockergebiet!

Wunderbare FeWo. Klasse Aussicht auf ein Lavendelfeld und Weinberge sowie die Umgebung. Die Gite La Lavande liegt auf der Nordseite, es lässt es sich darin auch an heißen Tagen prima aushalten. Sehr guter Standort um den Luberon zu erkunden und sich nachher im sonnig gelegenen Pool zu erfrischen. Patrick (Vermieter) wohnt gleich nebenan und ist auf Nachfrage sehr hilfsbereit (er hat uns den Corona-Test in Coustellet vermittelt). Ansonsten sieht man Ihn nicht. Wir haben uns prächtig erholt und kommen gerne nochmal vorbei.

Et smukt sted

Huset er smukt beliggende uden for Roussillon mellem vin - og lavendelmarker. Der et gode muligheder for sol og skygge på grunden. Poolen ligger smukt med udsigt til aftenssol. Huser har en dejlig atmosfære med stue og køkken i et fælles rum og et flot lysindfald fra et stort vindue i indgangspartiet. Badeværelserne er fine. Patrick er en hyggelig og hjælpsom vært. Huset kan varmt anbefales.

Vorgefunden wie beschreiben!

Von den 7 Tagen Aufenthalt hat es an 6 geregnet! Aber dafür kann der Vermieter ja nix. Um so erfreulicher, dass die Heizung der Wohnung gut funktioniert hat. Auch kochen oder fernsehen (deutsche Programme), was man halt an so veregneten Tagen macht, war sehr gut möglich. In den Regenpausen konnte in der sehr schönen und ruhigen Umgebung des Hauses gewandert werden. Wir waren über den Steinboden der Wohnung ohne Eingangsbereich sehr glücklich. Da konnten auch die schmutzigen Pfotenspuren unseres Hundes unkompliziert weggewischt werden. Dieses Prädikat "unkompliziert" gilt auch dem sehr freundlichen Vermieter. Nach einer kurzen Erklärung der Wohnung und dem Verweis auf 2 Flaschen Wein im Kühlschrank haben wir ihn erst zum Abschied wieder gesehen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wunderbar gelegene Ferienunterkunft in der Provence

Sehr nette hilfsbereite Besitzer, die direkt nebenan wohnen. Einzigartige, sehr ruhige Lage (kein Verkehrslärm) inmitten von Weinfeldern und direkt neben einem Lavendelfeld gelegen, mit einem fantastischen Blick auf die Vaucluse Berge von Joucas über Gordes bis hin zum Westrand des Luberon. Schöne große Wohnküche mit allem, was man in den Ferien braucht. Tolle Lage des Swimmingpools.

Ideales Ferienhaus abseits des Ortes in schönem Gelände. Bestens geeignet für die Erkundung der zahlreichen sehenswerten Orte des Lubéron. Sehr gut ausgestattetes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus, besonders ansprechend Terrasse und Garten am Haus mit Blick auf Lavendelfeld und in die Landschaft. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Der Pool bietet willkommene Erfrischung nach den Unternehmungen des Tages.

Toller Standort fußläufig zu Roussilon

Wir hatten zu viert die größere der beiden Wohnungen. Das Raumangebot ist ausreichend für vier, ein etwas größerer Schlafraum mit Doppelbett und ein kleinerer mit getrennten Betten, alle von guter Qualität. Der Gemeinschaftsraum ist hochwertig und komplett ausgestattet, wir haben nichts vermisst und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die zugehörige Terrasse und der angrenzende Garten bieten eine herrliche Aussicht, die Bilder im Internet täuschen da überhaupt nicht. Patrick und seine Frau sind freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber, wir haben uns gefreut sie kennenzulernen. Gerne werden wir einmal wiederkommen.

wunderschönes Haus mit tollem Blick auf Natur und auf den Luberon direkt neben einem Lavendelfeld

WIr haben in dem Haus "Lavende" eine wundervolle und erholsame Woche im Luberon zusammen mit unseren 2 Kindern verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das 2te Bad war ein sehr angenehmer Komfort. Das Haus liegt mitten in Weinbergen direkt neben einem Lavendelfeld (was uns persönlich einen besonders tollen Eindruck in der Provence zu sein vermittelt hat), sehr nah an Roussillon und dennoch ruhig in der freien Natur. Man kann auch direkt vor dem Haus schöne Spaziergänge durch die Weinberge machen. Der gepflegte Swimmungpool war bei den hohen Temperaturen unserer Urlaubswoche eine angenehme Erfrischung . Er bietet einen tollen Blick auf das Luberon und einen angenehmen, natürlichen Schatten durch eine direkt angrenzende, schön angelegte Zypressenreihe. Die äusserst hilfsbereiten Vermieter wohnen direkt daneben "im Mittelhaus", ohne dass man sich groß begegnet, da die Terrassen entsprechend geschickt angeordnet sind. Die Vermieter haben Ihre Hilfe uneingeschränkt angeboten, waren bei Bedarf immer sofort greifbar und dennoch stets diskret. Der Kontakt über den Vermieter Patrick lief reibungslos und auch im Vorfeld immer sehr schnell und zuverlässig. Er war stets sehr freundlich, verständnisvoll und großzügig. Zur Begrüßung fanden wir im Kühlschrank eine Flasche Wasser und Rosewein vor, was eine angenehme Erfrischung bei den sehr sommerlichen Temperaturen war. Insgesamt waren wir von dem Haus und der Umgebung begeistert und werden sehr gerne nochmals kommen.

Tolle Lage, klasse Ausstattung und sehr nette Vermieter

Wir waren eine Woche bei Patrick zu Gast und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Wohnung, Garten und Pool sind getrennt vom restlichen Anwesen. Wir hatten immer das Gefühl alleine zwischen Weinreben und Lavendel zu sein. Die Ausstattung ist prima. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen. Danke Patrick, Nadine und Ines.

A proper name

This house was given a proper name, "Lavender". A field of lavender is right outside the door....and we got to watch it grow while we were there. It's not a big house, but a well designed and outfitted one. A wonderful location, with a charming lane to take walks on. We loved this house and the area. It was our third year there and we're sure to come back. There was only one problem for me. The WiFi was intermittent. It made it a bit difficult for me. But, that was the only problem and not a great one at that.

Urlaub für die Seele

Wer die Schönheit der Provence sucht, ist im Luberon gut aufgehoben. Im Sommer lebhaft, im Herbst eher ruhig sind sowohl die Landschaft als auch die kleinen Dörfer bezaubernd. Das Ferienhaus grenzt direkt an das Haus des Besitzers, der ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit war. Es liegt in Alleinlage aber nicht weit vom Dorf Roussillon entfernt. Vor der Terrasse das Lavendelfeld, hinter dem Pool Weinfelder bis zum Horizont. Der Sonnenuntergang unvergleichlich schön.

A peaceful week in the Luberon

We had never visited the Luberon before but we will certainly return. This gite was good value for money. It was clean, well equipped and Patrick was a superb host (with very good English). The pool was essential as the temperature was around 34 degrees every day. The location was fantastic - wonderful views, peace and quiet, yet within walking distance of Rousillon. It is perfectly located to explore all the Luberon villages and further afield to Mt Ventoux and the Rhone vineyards. Recommended without reservation.

Superb!

Situated on a hill top Les Lavandes has stunning views of the Calavon River valley and the Luberon hills. Marvelous sunsets. The rental is new, well equipped and very attractive. It is 10 minutes from the hill top town of Roussillon (the church bells can be heard ringing the hours) and a good location for day trips to Avignon, Aix, Orange, Pont du Gard, Nimes, Arles and other famous sites not to mention an interesting selection of hill top villages such as Gordes and Goult on the Roussillon side of the Calavon and the many villages of Peter Mayle country on the opposite side – Ménerbes, Lacoste, Bonnieux. There is a full scale supermarket in Apt (about 15 minutes) and another in the opposite direction in Coustellet, convenient for return trips from the west. Provence has some of the finest provincial Roman ruins outside Turkey, Syria and North Africa. Nearby is one example, the Pont Julien, just off D900 (on the access road to Bonnieux). It was in use until recently. The nearby ancient Abbey Sénanque, just beyond Gordes, is worth a visit. GPS is helpful for navigating the complex of roads connecting the villages. There are north and south on-ramps to the A7 at Cavaillon and Caumont. Patrick and Nadine could not have been more accommodating and helpful hosts.
