Artists once lived here, shopkeepers sold unique goods here, there was once a news agency, and more recently it served as an art gallery; even further back, it was part of a larger complex that also included “The Building with the Mops.” Some authentic and charming details of the old walls and beams are still visible. And on the ground floor, the original stained-glass windows remain. The entire building has been renovated and features new and surprising elements, with a modern interior. The building has a fresh and airy atmosphere where you’ll feel right at home.

Guests.
The property is spread over three floors. It comfortably accommodates up to 10 people. This historic building is ideal for groups or families who appreciate plenty of space, business travellers, and families (with children). A cot for an additional baby or toddler is provided as standard.

Relax and/or work—you can do both!
There are two brand-new, spacious, and open kitchens. On both the ground floor and the ground floor, there’s a relaxation area with plush armchairs and comfortable sofa beds. You also have your own outdoor space. At the front of the ground floor, there’s a large table with ten chairs by the window where you can work, hold meetings, or enjoy a cosy dinner with your guests. Downstairs, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal at the window table or the high bar table. Of course, high-speed Wi-Fi is available, and a flat-screen TV awaits you in the sitting area on the ground floor.

Dining.
Both kitchens in the building are spacious and modern. They’re equipped with a fridge-freezer, combination microwave, ovens, electric hobs, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. There is plenty of tableware, cookware, and silverware available.

Sleeping.
The large and bright master bedroom (sleeps 2) with a large double box-spring bed is perfect for young and old alike. Next to the master bedroom, you’ll find a cosy sleeping nook with a cot for a baby or toddler. The cosy and intimate loft (sleeps 2) at the rear of the property has two single beds; it’s wonderfully quiet and has a unique charm thanks to its sloped roof and small windows. The sofa in the sitting area (2 people) on the ground floor can also be easily converted into a spacious double bed. On the ground floor, you’ll sleep in the double bed (sleeps 2) on the loft and on the sofa bed (sleeps 2) located below it in the sitting area of the same room. This house can therefore easily accommodate 10 people plus a baby or toddler.

The two luxurious designer bathrooms with spacious walk-in showers offer every comfort. There’s also plenty of space for your clothes and suitcases. There are two hair dryers, irons, and ironing boards. Extra blankets and pillows are provided.

Is there anything to do?
The location itself is perfectly suited for relaxation and is wonderfully peaceful, but there’s plenty to do in the immediate vicinity. Cool, trendy coffee and smoothie bars, vegan restaurants, and modern lunch and dinner spots—it’s all nearby.

The museum and theatre are at the end of the street, and the cinema is just around the corner. Charming art studios, flea markets, and galleries are nearby—the street is part of the Art Route.
&
