This cozy detached cottage is located on a small-scale park in Herkingen, directly behind the embankment of the Grevelingen. The beach of Herkingen on the Grevelingenmeer is just a 2-minute walk away. This is the largest saltwater lake in Europe and lies between South Holland and Zeeland.

The cottage is tastefully decorated. Double doors to the garden, living room with fireplace and the dining area overlooking the garden, which offers a lot of privacy.
Also on the ground floor is the bathroom with shower and toilet, a bedroom with double bed and an extra room with cupboard space. A baby bed can possibly be placed here.
The cottage has a surprising open loft with a double bed and seating.

Around the cottage is a spacious fenced garden with 1 private parking space. There is plenty of privacy, sun and shade here. The place to relax on balmy evenings. Fire pit, a good glass of wine and a nice breakfast at the picnic table the next morning.
Second private parking space is near the cottage.

Close to the park is the marina with a restaurant. The fresh bakery, supermarket and water sports shop are also within walking distance.
On Goeree Overflakkee you will also find Middelharnis with a pleasant shopping dyke, picturesque harbor with old buildings, terraces and restaurants.
The beautifully wide North Sea beach is only 20 minutes away. The Zeeland Zierikzee, Oosterscheldekering Neeltje Jans, Middelburg and Ouddorp are certainly worth a visit!

Herkingen is located in a beautiful nature reserve where you can cycle and walk endlessly. Horses and cattle graze on the Slikken van Flakkee. Seals are often spotted, just like beautiful birds like the spoonbill. Every year flamingos come to winter between Herkingen and Battenoord!

Sehr schöner Urlaub
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Marnis Häuschen sehr genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Marni hat ein Händchen fürs Detail, welches sowohl im Haus als auch in dem wunderschönen Garten zu spüren ist. Alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden (bis auf die Spülmaschine, auf die man aber durchaus auch verzichten kann). Marni ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für alles, Marni. Wir möchten sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Ruhig und Erholsam
Wir waren Anfang September dort und konnten uns sehr gut erholen. Das Häuschen ist sehr schön eingerichtet und auch die Küche toll ausgestattet. Viele kleine Details haben das Haus sehr gemütlich gemacht. Auch der Garten hat zum Entspannen und erholen beigetragen. Am Abend gehen Lichter an die es sehr gemütlich sein lassen. Die Vermieterin ist eine sehr nette Person, hilfsbereit und schneller Kontakt. Vielen Dank !!!

Wir haben gemeinsam mit unserem Hund einen schönen 10tägigen Urlaub im Ferienhaus der sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Vermieterin Marni verbracht. Das Haus ist nett eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Der Garten ist gepflegt und rundherum geschlossen. Also ideal für Hunde. Wir werden bestimmt noch mal wieder kommen! Vielen Dank Marni!

Es war eine wunderbare Woche in Herkingen, die Umgebung ist herrlich ruhig, zum Grevelingmeer sind es zu Fuß 2 Minuten. Das Häuschen ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, für den täglichen Bedarf ist alles da. Wir (Familie mit kleinem Kind) haben uns sehr sehr Wohlgefühl und die herrliche Ruhe im Garten genossen! Marnie ist eine sehr herzliche, freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Danke für die herrliche Woche!

Wir habe hier mit unserer Hündin eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Die Entfernung zum Strand ist perfekt und die Lage für Ausflüge sehr günstig. Wir würden es nochmal buchen.

Sehr schönes Häuschen
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Vermieterin war zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und sehr nett. Das Haus war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Es war alles Notwendige da um sich wie zuhause zu fühlen. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung.
