Rotorua by the lake
This home is beautifully situated right next to a lake and with a lovely garden. Quiet and with a very comfortable bed in the Master. Best sheets of our holiday of 6 locations! We really appreciated being able to bring our dog too. Only negative would be the tired carpet which is bordering on dangerous where ripped on the stairs into the lounge.

Family cozy retreat
We stayed for the weekend, brought the whole family, dogs included. So cozy enjoyed the hot tube, wood burner and so close to the lake but still close to town, Definitely stay again :)

Great spacious accommodation with plenty of room for 5. Loved the kayaking on the lake and the hot tub. The location was perfect and close to all the main attractions that Rotorua has to offer.

Great Spa & Good Views
Loved staying here. Loved the spa and being able to walk down to the lake. The carpet is looking very tired but otherwise the house was clean and tidy and had all we wanted. Enjoyed our stay here very much & was great value overall.

Midwinter getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very warm and cosy with plenty of room for all of us. The spa was wonderful as was the fireplace in the lounge. Our 1 year old grandson loved perusing the garden and playing on the lawns both at the front and rear of the property. The property was conveniently located to all the destinations we headed to. Overall a lovely extended weekend stay, thank you. We will definitely be back. :)

Great family weekend away
Good location, comfortable property with room for us all (7 adults). Property felt a bit neglected...broken outdoor furniture, lights not working. Could do with a spring clean inside and out. Overall a relaxing, comfortable holiday home but could be even better with some TLC.

Great spot for R&R
Enjoyed our holiday here for a week. Has everything we needed and any property quirks were promptly resolved by the manager. Close for lake for kayaking, spa for a relaxed end of day, and great BBQ. Air conditioning was very appreciated, and I’m sure the fire would be lovely in the winter. Our group had three adult couples and we found the fridge small but I think if we had one person shopping (not 5!) then we would have been fine

Man what a beautiful home.as soon as we got there we left comfortable and the home had such a homely feeling.the views of the lake and early morning kayaks were to die for.the kids loved the spa and Al the little games/gadgets the house came with.very tidy and accommodating I cannot wait to return very soon.thank you for letting us into your beautiful home we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our experience was that wonderful we are now considering moving to Rotorua so thank you from my family to yours

We love this place its so relaxing and stunning and homely
Main Bathroom could do with a face lift, love the new bed in the spare double awesome!! would come back again and again. The ensuite looks amazing and the shower was really a power shower! :)

Nice and relaxing
The house is great. Just needs some little maintenance for health and safety. A couple of boards on the deck needs replacing. The nails on the deck stick out so need banging in properly, and the sliding doors need safety glass put in. There was no outside light outside the lounge door, and I ended up walking through it as I couldnt see, getting 7 stitchs in my knee, with multipal cuts over my body. Wouldnt of happen if there was safety glass and/or a light outside. A enjoyable holiday though.

The room is a little bit cold for us.
Because we could not successfully start the fire. And the AC in the living room was not working properly. We tried to call the phone number, but no one answered.

Thanks for your feedback Rui. We set all of our fires up with a full wood basket and kindling ready to strike a match to and light to make sure it is as easy as possible for you. Roselake Retreat also has two heat pumps which can be operated using the remotes at the property which have been tested and confirmed to be working as they should be. Great spot for Families
Handy to the Luge and several other attractions and only a short drive to the centre of town, this is a great spot for families with plenty of room. Enjoyed the spa too.

Highly recommended!
We are a family of 6 adults and a child who is nearly 3 and this place was perfect for us as a getaway to celebrate a birthday. Big enough that we were able to hang out together or get away from each other as the mood took us :) The location is perfect. Close to everything but quiet and relaxed. The house is exactly as described and more than one of the relatives commented how comfortable the beds were. While some of the furnishings are a little dated the house was spotlessly clean. Having the lake right there was lovely. The only point of caution I have is that it might not be suitable for toddlers (2yo and younger) or people with mobility issues as there is a sunken lounge room. Kawaha Point was 10/10 for us and we will definitely be back!

Nice house in a good Location
Very comfy beds in a quiet residential area. Large house, good for large groups, 2 families etc. Heat pump in the lounge kept us warm also has an internal fireplace. Spa pool was a little tired and on the cold side so used the bath tub instead for a relaxing soak. This was not our original booked house and was put into this place an hour before arriving due to a maintenance issue .

Loved the lake was so close and we could sit and relax and watch the black swans. Also peaceful
