Not what I expect from a Hampton. Original room smelled like "stale cigarette smoke". We were moved to a 2nd room that had some strange white stuff on an area of the carpet in the main room & some loose tags on the night stand. Bathroom looked like it had been cleaned so we just kept this room. Remote for TV didn't work but they gave us one that did work. Wall paper was peeling in both rooms we were in.

We walked into the room and there was a large size empty liquor bottle by the bed. Our baseball team stayed there for the weekend and the main reason was for the swimming pool. On Friday we got in and found so much unsanitary items in there. We notified the staff and Saturday they advised it would be closed for the weekend.

Hello Erica, I want to offer a sincere apology for the issues you encountered during your stay with us. Unfortunately, we have been having issues with guests abusing their pool privileges which makes it hard for everyone. We closed the pool for guest safety. As for the empty liquor container in the room, I have advised housekeeping to double check all rooms prior to marking them ready for guests. On a positive note, we will be starting a renovation very soon which will make quite a difference in our look and feel. We hope to see you once that is complete early next year.

We’ve stayed at other Hampton Inns but ended up disappointed in the quality & service at this particular Hampton Inn. Let me just say we checked in on a Thursday (my husband noticed a small sign on the bathrm mirror saying housekeeping now cleans rooms “every other day) We thought ok, we can deal with that - on Friday we had to ask for two bath towels as the two original ones were still too wet to use - by Saturday, the Kleenex dispenser was empty, one of the two TP rolls was empty, & both wastebaskets were full! We checked out Sunday and never got our room cleaned up! We understand many businesses are trying to economize but we went from Thursday to Sunday with NO room cleaning! That is just not acceptable!

As the general manager of the hotel, I take full responsibility for the issues you experienced and want to offer a sincere apology to you for the poor experience you had with us. It is our policy to offer room cleaning every other day to those guests who stay more than two days. The fact that this wasn't done has been addressed internally.Thank you for your feedback. Stay somewhere else!
The pool area was very dirty. Lots of built up dark colored scum around edges of pool and hot tub. Jets did not work in hot tub. The sleeper sofa in room was not functional. Could not even sit on sofa as springs were busted all the way to the floor. Kids had to sleep on sleeper sofa bed mattress on the floor. I asked for a different room and was told every sleeper sofa in the hotel was the same and broken from kids jumping on them.

I have instructed our maintenance team to address the issues with our sleeper sofas.With respect to the hot tub, I was unaware that there was a problem with it. I have had my maintenance team look into that as well. I also want to point out that we are about to undergo a full remodel early in the year, and would love to have you give us another try in the future. I think you'll be quite satisfied with your next stay.

As always Timothy was a gracious host as was the young lady w/ the black curly hair. The Hamptons are my go to stay especially in Roswell because of the friendliness, quality & cleanliness of the room plus the tasty breakfast fare. Thank you for making our stay as comfortable as it was.

This is right on Main st. Good overall location hotel was good, bathroom could have been a little cleaner and floors were sticky when you first walk in. Otherwise rooms were big.

The thing I didn’t like was the toilets are the old type there to load the floor you can barely get up off of them. They need to update those. Otherwise everything was fine at the property. Everything was very clean.

The impeccable attention to detail is no more. Small things. Coffee machine had grounds in water container. Hot water in cafe was cold. Sheets were crumpled. Staff are very friendly.

I did not like they had changed the room I requested w/out telling me because they had overbooked. The shower made a mess everytimee used it which was a safety haza Also, we had planned to use the swimming facilities but the water always looked murky; I have immuno-compromised issues & was concerned about bacteria. Staff was nice.

This was my favorite hotel on our trip. Staff was helpful in knowledge and resources. Laundry facilities were maintained and efficient. I know rooms are based on availability but we lucked out to be just down the hall from the laundry facilities which we needed that night.
