"We were greeted by our host, Rosi, when we arrived. She was very welcoming and understanding to the fact that we were late. Her little cottage was all that we hoped it would be. Simple, rustic, and everything you would think an Irish cottage should be. The location was great. Waking up to the view of the mountains was amazing. Rosi, was great and made sure we had everything we needed. There is a beautiful garden to explore if you have time. Hoping to go back again. Thank you Rosi for the wonderful experience."

"Very nice bed & breakfast with our own bathroom connected to the room. Rooms are a little on the small side but comfortable. It was a cold, rainy day & when we asked about the heat we were told it was off for the summer but hostess graciously turned it on so that we could get warmed up. Very pleasant hostess who welcomed us & suggested a restaurant nearby for dinner (Powers Thatch Bar & Restaurant) which was excellent. Breakfast was home cooked by hostess & good variety. Don’t book here if you’re going to be late arriving. Last checkin is 7pm. We thought we might be late & called ahead. Hostess was gracious & told us not to worry as traffic in Galway can be a problem. We did make it before 7pm, though. "

"Can't recommend enough. Beautiful location on Lough Corrib. We had a family reunion and the house had everything we needed for big dinners on the shores of the lough or in inclimate weather, eating indoors. Oughterard is very easy to get to from Galway on a new road that makes the journey quick. (about 30 mins) The town itself is lovely with nice food options for eating out. The interior of the house is very comfy. Especially the beds. The furniture is a bit dated but did not present any problems or deter from experience. We will definately be back."

"Wanted to explore the wild Atlantic and this was a perfect nights stay. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the local pub. Great breakfast and even snuck in a massage at the hotel next door before heading off to see the Abbey. Such an amazing area to visit. "
