My solution was to pull out the room card from the power control and turn off the electricity for the room, but that meant we couldn't charge our phones. But that's minor, and I'm sure that if we'd said something the management would have...

However, it was very difficult to find, since it doesn't have a sign (is it a legal hospitality accommodation?), the public spaces are filthy and the private rooms, though reasonably clean, worn and in desperate need of renovation. The hotel is perfectly situated right by the Mediterranean Sea, offering breathtaking views. The proximity to the water made the location simply amazing.

The surrounding neighborhood is super walkable with many great coffee shops, restaurants, and a nearby supermarket. Being part of Haifa, the hotel is close to everything, including the Haifa German Colony area and downtown Haifa, which have fantastic restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops.
