"A beautiful place and a real honour to stay here as a westerner. Robes and amenities were provided and the baths were excellent including an outdoor area. Very helpful and friendly staff made us feel welcomed. There was even a mini stamp rally around the building which was great for us and our teen child to explore. Chose half board and the Japanese style dinner was very tasty, served in traditional partitioned areas for semi-private dining. Similar to a tasting menu with lots of small dishes and courses. Onsen area was lovely and relaxing. Indoor and outdoor onsen plus sauna."
