"I don’t normally write review but felt compelled to after our stay here. The host was just super helpful and organised in advance which was fabulous. But nothing could have prepared us for the absolutely stunning location of this place! We could have sat on one of the many balcony areas looking at at the different views for hours. "This property as 3 pools. The staff are lovely. Yes, it's very quiet at this hotel. You can walk to the ocean where there are several local restaurants with wonderful food. The village at the bottom of the hill is cozy and costal. The food at the hotel wasn't my favorite that's why it's 4 stars. They gave us "complementary" food, but charged us for it in the end - eh - maybe that was the language barrier, who knows. the staff left cookies in our room every evening which was a treat. The views are beautiful. Our room was crowded with furniture, coffee and tea makers which was cumbersome. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful and the products were great. They helped us arrange transpo to Taormina, taxis to local places, and we set up a local winery tour on or own. An easy ride to/from the train station."
