The Peridot Retreat

Welcome to The Peridot Retreat. Adjacent to the Peridot by the Shore this space is nothing but exceptional. Relaxation and beauty awaits you upon your arrival. A tranquil setting with sitting room, queen bed and corner jacuzzi tub overlooking the harbour where you can watch the sunset over the ocean. There is a private deck to sit and breathe in the fresh air as you listen to the waves roll in to the shore. A great space for couples looking for that perfect getaway.
This reservation has a Super Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 14 day prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 14 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 7 to 13 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 7 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.

The retreat is lovely, clean, convenient, and walking distance to a variety of restaurants. We especially enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching the birds and boats in the harbour. Rocky Harbour is a perfect location to stay when visiting Gros Morne.

A lovely stay perfect location and jumping off point

We had a peaceful stay at the Peridot Retreat. We bought fresh seafood and enjoyed using the kitchen to bake & prepare fresh meals after hiking and exploring Gros Morne each day.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. Can't say enough good things about The Peridot Retreat. It was quiet, comfortable, and beautifully decorated; and the jacuzzi was amazing. We loved the view of the bay and being able to sit on the deck for meals. Kitchen was great, well equipped. Also, so central to great hikes, landmarks, and spectacular sights. Thank you, Yvonne, for sharing your space with us - this was truly a memorable vacation.

Perfect Get-A-Way in Rocky Harbour

We wanted a central location to explore the area. Did a Bonne Bay Tour…that was epic, Lobster Cove Head, lots of shops and restaurants. Enjoyed the ice cream shop that makes their own ice cream. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset on one evening and an extraordinary rainbow the next. We did a trail at the tablelands on the way to Port aux Basques…everything has been so perfect!

We enjoyed our stay here. Super clean and comfortable accommodation. Owner was attentive and provided excellent communication. Sunsets off the deck were a bonus. Great location just a short drive to hiking trails and walking distance to the Anchors Away show. Good restaurants are near by as well.

The Peridot Retreat

Great place, fantastic location, close to a number of good trails, good food options within walking distance. Great views off the back deck, if you just feel like spending the day in. Yvonne was a great host! I highly recommend the place.
