From the moment we arrived, Alice at the front desk welcomed us with outstanding customer service, making check-in seamless and pleasant. We also want to give a special mention to Julie, our greeter and waitress, who looked after us beautifully during breakfast each morning with her warm and attentive hospitality. "We had an enjoyable stay.All aspects very pleasing - especially the Indian food dishes which we ordered. Breakfasts very good too. We had a well-appointed room, spacious and suitable for my disabled wife. My only criticism is about policy of only servicing rooms when asked for; regular daily servicing means any problems are seen and can be dealt with sooner rather than later. Care for environment can be seen to by asking simply for thoughtful use of towels - avoid unnecessary washing. Thank you."

"No business gets everything right every time. No one is perfect. But, the way a business reacts when things go wrong is very important. We checked in for two nights and the first night didn’t go well for a variety of reasons, including an uncomfortable mattress, a dodgy shower control and a toilet that wouldn’t flush. These issues were raised with the front desk who upgraded us to a much better room without argument or question. Thank you. "

"The hotel was absolutely perfect for me and I cannot fault it! Great location with added bonus of Toby Carvery close by and M and S garage shop so you can’t ask for more 😁 The accommodation was clean and tidy everywhere, the staff were all lovely, very helpful and friendly Breakfast was included in the booking so a great deal. Parking free and next to hotel"

"The room was lovely, large & comfortable, but the reason I cant give a 5 star rating is because the water pressure in the shower is ridiculous. We stay here often, and it's the same in every room we've stayed in. A watering can would give you a better shower. I know water rates are high, but if they just put £1 on the cost of the room, it would cover it"
