"It was a villa in a tranquil location next to a house with chickens horses and dogs. The location was right the middle of Florence/rome. It was a good house for two families to come together although a shame that upstairs and downstairs did not connect from the inside. They are two separate dwelling accessed in opposite sides of the property. The pool was beautiful so lovely and clean however despite asking on a few occasions we did not know how to turn the lights on inside the pool. There are a lots o creepy crawlers of you don’t mind them it’s fine but after a while they creeped us out. The sofa in the lounge was broken on arrival. I do think the house could do with a little renovation "

"Lovely villa in southern Tuscany. The Val d'Orcia doesn't immediately have the big ticket charms of northern Tuscany but it does have plenty of lovely small villages and towns and Radicofani is one of them - a less well known gem with plenty of character and worth a visit. The villa was as billed - very pretty, clean and well equipped. I would give the whole experience 5/5 except the villa is down a very bumpy steep unmade track which damaged the suspension of my car. I did not see this mentioned in the property description. I would advise you to think carefully whether this is the right property for you - if you haven't rented/own an SUV. "
