"I was supposed and booked for an amount and the guy wanted to charge me a much higher amount arguing that he gave me un upgrade, ? Never requested? I dispute for that and ended paying over the reservation amount Did not like that "

"Paolo and his family were wonderful hosts. Mateo made sure our parking location was ok and took our bags from parking area to hotel. Large, clean room. Very convenient location. Easy walking around town. Wonderful breakfast"

"Host was quick to respond to questions and concerns and offered great advice about the location. He understood our concerns and the house, though a bit tiny for our families of 8, was well appointed and had everything we needed...especially being big cooks.Only challenges were that it took two nights before the house truly warmed up with the heaters and the wonderful fire (it was very cold out...and can't blame the host for that!) And, being big cooks, when we would use oven as well as the stovetop at the same time for a meal, and with other electricity on in the house the breakers/fuse box would shut off. It made two nights of our stay a bit difficult to time our big "at home" dinners. Overall, very cozy, comfortable and it was a great location for us as it was only 10 min. from our new home in Castiglione Del Lago! Thank you!"

"Great rustic apartment complex close to lakeside at Castiglione del Lago. The apartments are a good size, well equipped, and comfortably furnished. Everything was in good condition and (importantly....) worked! The setting is lovely as the apartments are within a beautifully maintained garden landscape, with tennis courts and immaculate pool complete with sunbed terrace. The town is a 5 minute car drive away and there are many choices all around the lake to stop for food and/or drinks. Overall, if you want a quiet base to chill and be the base for visiting the local towns, this is a great choice!"

"Nice quiet hotel even though on the main street of the castle area. Staff was friendly, the food was excellent and the price was a bargain. The room was quite small but there is a common area where we could hang out a couple of times. Parking is by the hour in the nearby area so recommend you get the parking app, which was also useful in other towns. "
