"Beautifully maintained grounds. Classic elegant main building with exceptionally comfortable library and sitting room. Cool and comfortable bar/lounge area, offering interesting meal options. "
"We had a great time! The location was ideal, we received excellent recommendations from the concierge (mostly for restaurant advice, but also for info about the local scene), the price was excellent and we were very surprised to find ourselves planted in the roof top bar/restaurant most nights - twice we stayed much later than is common for us. What an awesome spot! We both agreed to the wording of this review by the way - highly recommended!"
"The room was nice as well as clean, with a large comfortable bed. The staff were all polite and check us in pretty quickly. Had a lot of fun hanging out at the bar and restaurant "Bumstead's" attached to the hotel, where we all sang Karaoke with some friends eating delicious food and good drinks. Didn't have the time to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi, but it looked refreshing. Would definitely stay again."
"A real gem in a quiet neighborhood. This is a great place to stay! One note to consider…for those with larger cars, the provided parking space can be a bit tight, especially when a larger car has taken the slot next to it."
"I love small boutique hotels like this. Dina is an excellent host and a great cook for a breakfast B & B. Only comment was we visited during the hottest time and there is no a/c in the public space just overhead fans. Can't change that in a historic home though. Interesting decor and everything you could need to be comfortable, thank you"
