"Lovely location and setting and welcoming staff but that’s where the positives ended. Room was a disappointment; fire place but no wood for it, no heater and air con did not heat room room so we were cold. Shower was in the room and did not have a shower door so shower flooded the room and walkway to the main reception area was uneven and poorly lit. Pity as could be a great hotel. "

"An incredible property outside of Cape Town. We were there only one night but it would be great for 10 friends to go for the weekend and relax. "

"This is a very special place. The hosts are a lovely warm hospitable couple who have planned everything with great thought and and fine eye for quality and detail. The whole property is spacious and serene. The rooms and bathrooms spacious and beautifully styled. The breakfasts are amazing - a huge choice of specialist teas, homemade granola, preserves and pastries, cheeses, the most fantastic seedy bread! And a great range of very tasty well cooked hot options. All served in a light and airy...

"Truly amazing! Beautiful room, views and pool area. The food in the restaurant was splendid. The only thing that was a bit strange was that breakfast had to be pre-ordered the night before, and coffee/tea was not included. And they have no lunch. I guess my feedback is that they should have more food options available. Another note to future visitors - the mountain road up to the hotel was a bit difficult if you have a smaller car. But other than that it was perfect."
