"The room was absolutely gorgeous but what really made this trip special was a wonderful and gorgeous and thoughtful stuff especially Charmaine K. She went out of her way to make us feel warm and welcome, and by doing that she secured us as annual customers and guess because this will definitely be your annual getaway for that Christmas Eve feel at this hotel is the best pic in all of Lake Placid with beautiful views, clean rooms and a wonderful staff."

"This was a beautiful cozy place. So Lovely decorated. With little kitchenette amenities enough to fix simple breakfast/ lunch. A table to sit at. Nice clean modern bathroom. Nice entrance. Private. Close to hikes (25-30 minutes from LOJ trail head parking. It allowed me to bring my dog. It was perfect for what we needed. Host was very responsive to any questions. I’d stay again without hesitation. "

"We had a wonderful stay. The yard is very private, and the large parking area was great. The firepit was big enough for the ten of us to sit around with plenty of firewood provided. We also enjoyed the hot tub (nice touch with robes, towels, flip flops included) and playing cornhole. The house was very spacious. We especially liked the dining room where we could all be seated for family meals. The house is filled with amazing local artwork. We loved the collection of kaleidoscopes. Valerie, the host, was extremely warm and welcoming. We would highly recommend this property. "
