Come to “Yellow Creek Cabin” and step back in time while preserving all of the conveniences of home. Located on a private road, you can be sure this is one of the most secluded listings you will find. From the front porch you will enjoy listening to the noisy trout stream that meanders around you. Be sure to get your NC fishing license before you come, as Yellow Creek is very well stocked with trout. You can open up the windows in the family room and hear the loud Creek go by. We are also only minutes away from several hatchery supported waters.

CELL phone service is currently NOT available at the cabin.

(Please no motorcycles. We have a long gravel drive. We like bikers and wouldn't want any to get injured.)
Also, we do NOT have wifi, but a landline and satellite TV is provided.
Our cabin is an all wood, thoughtfully decorated Appalachian style cabin. It has two bedrooms each with queen beds, two full baths, and a queen sleeper sofa. It also offers a large fully covered porch facing the trout stream. Beside the stream there is a fire pit, charcoal grill, and eating area (kids bring your wading shoes).
We offer a LE/Military discount as well as a returning guest discount.
This is a NON-SMOKING property.
No pets, please.

We had a fabulous stay! My only criticism is the ability to contact the property manager from the property since they do not take phone calls, and the property has no cell service.

Loved the setting, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, pleasing decor. We would go back.

Title states secluded, its not (multiple noisy neighbors with dogs that bark all day & night), pics on website outdated, yard overgrown, direct tv doesnt work. Not to mention we were given the wrong door code so we had to drive 30miles back in to town to get another (no cell service).

We enjoyed our stay at the creekside. The house was as described, clean, comfortable, and worked well for our group of 4 adults. We worked around not having cell or internet service and appreciated the land line phone to check on family etc. we came prepared to eat all meals at the house which turned out well after long days hiking and enjoying the area. We enjoyed hikes to Yellow Creek falls, the Joyce Kilmer Forrest, and especially to the shook shank fire tower and the hangover hike. The turn onto the gravel drive is a bit hard to see sue to leafy coverage of the street sign. A few more directions would make the task easier. Also be very careful trying to turn right out of the drive, we found it better to turn left and then turn around if needing to go right from the driveway, avoids scraping the bottom of the car.
