The hotel was pretty new. Staff were not ready. They couldn’t connect me to make local calls or find an electrical adaptor for me. The value for the money was bad — but this changes with time and offers. I would say give them sometimes to figure things out then rate them again. Be careful that a mile away another hotel has a similar name but starts with courtyard. I lost two meetings because associates would go there instead of the new hotel ( they waited for me there and didn’t have time to come to the new hotel)

A locals perspective

A clean and relatively new hotel. The staff were welcoming and gracious and the amenities and rooms are impeccable and the grounds are extremely well kept. Overall, a delightful stay and would definitely recommend the Marriott for anyone looking for a room in the DQ.
