The cottage was clean and cozy, perfect for our family as a "base" for touring around the lake.
The cottage was well-equipped for everything we needed to make our meals, and plenty of bedding and towels for our stay. The kids loved having a unique playground just a block away, and Palliser Regional Park provided great golfing and swimming. Any residents of Riverhurst we met were very friendly, and it was fun being so close to the ferry. We would definitely consider staying at the Lucky Charm again. Lucy was very helpful and readily available if we needed her. Thank you for providing such a great place for us to call "home" on our family vacation to a new area!

There is no fire wood, weeds growing around fire pit area, bottles from other guests at the firepit. Dirty sheets. Definitely a little pricey for what you get.
We rented this for several days while in the area. Home was very clean and comfortable. Beds were nice and the newer TV with chrome cast was a bonus. The home is older but in great shape and we very much enjoyed our stay.
House is older but clean and has everything you need. We are a family of 4 and this is our second year at the Lucky Charm. The location is great - walking distance to the convenience store in a super quiet town. The lake resort is a 5 minute drive and offers beautiful sandy beaches as well as an outdoor pool with a concession stand with a kitchen.
Highly recommend this place for a quiet get away close to the water.
Super hot week was missing the air conditioning.
Lots of fans provided.

🙁
Upon arrival, the property looked nice, the yard was well kept, deck area and a fire pit were decent, and quite private!
When we entered the cabin itself, I had to vacuum the entire place, there was "stuff" ( food debris) scattered throughout the property flooring... kitchen, livingroom, bedroom, and bathroom. When I went to check the cleanliness of the beds, the master bedroom sheets had a few long dark hairs on sheets and pillowcases. When I called the contact person about having additional bedding on the property to use eddi I could chang it, she told me where it was, then proceeded to tell me she had just washed it all that morning as she had family staying there before our arrival. Sounded like we had inconvenienced her family visiting. There was an insulin pen in the fridge!
Bathroom supplies (tp) were low, to which she stopped over the following morning with more supplies, when she came to pick up the dirty sheets. The propane tank was empty when we tried to bbq, which we filled and were reimbursed for, but another unannounced visit from her during our stay. The hand soap and dish soap where extensively watered down. There was no coax cable to watch TV, which wasn't a big deal as we weren't there to watch TV, but were going to have a movie night with kids.
Overall, the idea of renting this place for a little getaway was great, but the cleanliness or lack there of was offputting, along with all the pop ins, made for a not so peaceful getaway. ☹
My y and my husband and I stayed at the cabin for 3 nights an thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We loved sitting on the deck enjoying the shade or the sunshine and listening to the birds. the grounds are well kept and the cabin was very clean and well equipped and had all the supplies we needed. The beds were firm but very comfortable, although the second bedroom only had a double bed it was comfortable for my friend, but would have been tight for 2. There was no air-conditioning but reopened windows and turned on the fans for night and slept very well. Definitely recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to come back. Riverhurst is a very clean well kept town. Kudos to their maintenance people.
Our family really enjoyed our time in the area. The house was set up perfectly and was actually quite roomy. Affordable to stay and friendly homeowners made us pleased with our choice.
Our stay at this gem was wonderful! What little time we had in Riverhurst was a rare treat of peace and calmness.
The photos of this property are very accurate. It was soooo cozy and clean. I had doubts about the mattress on the bed for comfort, but I really slept like a baby. Thanks Lucy! And thank you Randy (the owner) for your quick replies. Your property is truly a Jewel!
