"Great place to stay and was near everything. Staff was excellent and looked after us."

"Great stay. My capsule was well equipped with dual USB-A/C ports and not a speck of dust in sight. This place is beyond clean - like the love child of Ikea and a Japanese capsule hotel. I don’t really have any negatives to speak of. They have daily activities (some paid, some free), a huge kitchen with a much welcomed free food basket, and a cheap cafe/bar with a nice 10% discount to make it even cheaper. Nothing to complain about here. "

"I stayed in a shared room with 20 beds but only like 5 other people actually there. It was pretty chill, great location and access to lots of restaurants and downtown Auckland right there. Lots of lockers including under my bottom bunk, just used my own lock and had no issues with it. Showers nice and hot, very clean space overall. Great big kitchen and the staff was awesome. Would stay here or another haka lodge again for sure!"

"False advertising. Rude staff. Beds with one small blanket in winter. Old building and freezing cold-no insulation. Bathroom tap didn't turn on. Booked for 3 nights, thinking it had a private bathroom as advertised. Upon check in found out no room had private bathroom. All shared. Refused to refund me any money. Even after showing them the advertisement online. Didn't stay and booked elsewhere. Only parking available is pay and display down the road that is more expensive than the room itself. "

"Awful. No bath mat, soap, bin, glass/cup. Filthy lockers, poop in toilet. Holes in walls, filthy walls. Tv ripped off wall. One neighbour making disgusting noises, clearly very ill. Another screaming super offensive abuse. Nearly called police. Extremely upset. Felt very unsafe."

"We booked this property because it was a handy location, unfortunately we had also booked it because it said we could have 3 separate beds and because I was booking it for 3 students that didn't really know each other it was appropriate they have their own beds. I have just been told they were only provided with a double and single bed. This has put me in a rather awkward position. They were not confident to ask for this to be changed."

"Wouldn’t really recommend staying here. The noise from the partying on the street outside makes it really hard to sleep and the room itself was not very clean."

"Well located for walking into the CBD. Parking was secure. The room was spacious including the bathroom. There was a constant background noise from the pipes presumably but didn't disrupt sleeping. "

"Backpackers small building was crowded (taken over) by a bunch of thugs, having meetings inside. "
