Karelia - Lovely Log Cabin w/Hot-tub and forest access, sleeps 10

Lovely Finnish log cabin with amazing Forest views, superbly located next to Ringwood Forest with direct forest access.

In 2023 the property had a complete make-over - the new spacious layout is designed for 10 persons with a cosy in-door living for those cold wet months, with a Scandinavian Wood-Burning Stove at the centre of the open plan area.

The property is ideal for 2 families, with 3 newly renovated bathrooms, and ample living space. The modern kitchen has a 10 person dining table and opens to the outdoor terrace dining and hot tub through French Doors.

The unique feature is the landscaped lawn, trees & mature garden, which is gated, fenced and private to the cottage. The property backs on to Ringwood Forest with miles and miles of walks and cycling areas, including the Castleman Trailways and Moors Valley Country Park.

The location is also conveniently close to the A338/A31 for easy access to both the New Forest (10 mins), Bournemouth Beach (15 mins), and multiple Dorset/Hampshire pubs and restaurants

Great weekend

We had a great weekend staying at Karelia. The house has great communal space for a large group, particularly the dining area. The kitchen and bathrooms are very high spec and incredibly clean which was great. We enjoyed the garden and the hot tub. Would highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you for having us

Cabin in the woods

Karelia is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. Close to amenities and things to do for the whole family. The children and adults enjoyed the hot tub and we couldn’t have asked for a better family holiday. Hoping to stay again.

Wonderful location, well equipped cosy cabin.

We had a great few days walking and cycling in the forest and then lounging in the hot tub. Luigi was a wonderful host- very welcoming and gave us lots of local info and tips. We’ll be back!!

11 of us stayed here for my grandads 80th! We had the most amazing time. We didn’t want to leave. The hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful! The hot tub was a lovely touch! Thanlyou for having us. We will definitely be returning!

Amazing place to stay!!!, what a find

What an amazing place this is to stay. Considering the amount of people staying there it never felt crowded. Great touch of decorating the lodge with Christmas decorations. Timo was accommodating and answered any questions we had.... and the wife and kids loved the WW2 sauna with a plunge pool. Thank you for an amazing stay and really can't wait to re-book

Great stay in fantastic location. Snug for 7 but ok for a couple of nights. Lodge dressed for Christmas which was a lovely touch. Woodland walks on the doorstep and hot tub was a bonus. Hope to stay again

Nice property in the Forest

Great place for 4 of us. 2 adults and 2 children (7 & 13). Quiet, plenty of space and the hot tub was used every day. We’d bought electric fans with us - would recommend during the summer! Great location, clean and good facilities.

The accommodation was very clean and warm and soon after arrival the manager visited to welcome us to the site. The lodges have been built amongst the trees which offer perfect screening between each lodge so you can really relax. My wife and I had a really relaxing 3 days and were sad to have to leave , and will definitely be returning for another stay.

Nice short break

Hot tub was a nice extra. Basic cabin and really suited to sleep 5 comfortably. It was difficult with our dog not having an enclosed area as she could run off in a large area.

The per effect get away from it all

Thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Keralia log cabin, sat amongst the trees on the edge of the forest. Perfect little get away for the two of us and the dog. Very calming environment and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Couldn’t ask for more and Luigi the manager was a star and couldn’t be more helpful. Will definitely look at going again next year .
