Ensana Thermal Hévíz

10/10 Excellent

"👍👍👍"

Bonvital Wellness & Gastro Hotel Hévíz - Adults Only

8/10 Good

"The rooms were clean, the staff were great, the location can't be beat if you are going to the thermal lake and walking around town. It also has a very nice bar for socializing over drinks. The only glitch for us was the included meals. We had a vegetarian with us and for her the food didn't hit the mark. However, for most people, the hotel should be a great place to stay."

Le Primore Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Originally, booked for two nights as a way to explore Hungarian thermal spa area. After first day's experience we extended our stay to six days. Quite nicely appointed structures and decore, lobby, facilities and rooms with the attention to details. Helpful staff always ready to assist. Half board package is adequate, breakfast and dinner well presented and tasty. Few times we grabbed a lunch at the pool bistro. Prices for drinks/wines are higher, but in line with the fivestar designation, I guess. IMHO, the parking in the facility should be included for hotel guests, but in Europe, everybody is trying to make extra charge. I don't think hotel of this level needs to penny-pinch on parking. Please continue to maintain these high standards in today's hard times and we will be back."

Ensana Thermal Sárvár

8/10 Good

"Mostly a very good experience. The pools need a spruce up - weeds growing between the paving stones around the outdoor pool, for example. The refrigerator in the room (was a mini bar in a past life but had nothing in it when we arrived) failed to chill drinks & receptionist said "it is not really a fridge, it is a minibar so its purpose is not to cool". Food is very good, only issue was around my nut allergy. People would move the little labels around so it was hard to see which label referred to which dessert. Otherwise a good experience. Tip: hotel guests can enter the neighbouroung arboretum free of charge. No need to walk outside the hotel grounds and pay for entry."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Rigács?

The best area to stay in Rigács is within the village centre itself, particularly around Fő utca (Main Street), which offers the most convenient access to local amenities and the feel of the village.

Rigács is a small, traditional Hungarian village, and the centre provides a relaxed base. Along Fő utca, you'll find the local church, a few small shops, and the village hall, giving you a sense of local life. The area is characterised by traditional Hungarian houses and quiet, tree-lined streets.

For couples looking for a peaceful getaway, staying in the village centre is ideal. You'll be close to the gentle pace of village life, superb for quiet walks and enjoying the rural surroundings. It's an excellent spot for those who appreciate a slower holiday pace, perhaps enjoying local wines or simply relaxing.

Families with young children will also find the village centre suitable. The absence of heavy traffic and the open spaces around the village provide a calm environment for children to explore safely.
