"The Old Post office was a large guesthouse very close to the Kirkjufell waterfall and mountai. The mountain was well seen from the guesthouse. The rooms were quite large, with private bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was a bit small but ok for a simple meal. The whole place was very clean. We liked staying there."

"What a great location for exploring the peninsula. The free breakfast was outstanding. We also had dinner one night with complimentary drinks provided at check in and it was delicious. Having the restaurant on property is key since it’s a remote area and there aren’t many dining options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful and polite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area."
