"I was able to stay overnight with my Golden Retiever for free. It was so very convenient and made my trip fantastic. I have no negative that I can think of, Thanks!"
"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was renovated and they were renovating lobby during our stay. They have good coffee in the lobby.
The location is good. There is a mini golf next to the hotel and Shelter Cove Town Center and Shelter Cove Harbor and Marina are about a mile away."
"This appears to be a former motel that is being transformed into suites. The room appears to have been two motel rooms. The door previously used for adjourning rooms has been replaced by french doors. One bathroom was replaced with a kitchen. However, there weren't any pots and pans, dishes, or utensils yet. There was a microwave that could be used. One bedroom had 2 queen beds and the other had a queen bed and a couch. The pool was closed. The location that looked like it was used for checking in and out was closed. I was instructed to check in at a specific room. The staff offered refreshments at no cost that included pastries, doughnuts, candy bars, and beverages. When I asked about the check out time, I was told to stay as long as I liked. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the cost was one of the least expensive on the island."
"Laundry machines did not work, also 3.50 per washer AND dryer wasn’t fun. However the pool was well maintained, breakfast was great and a rotating menu daily (no same breakfast 2 days in a row!) and the Loft Room was an excellent way to stay in HHI"
"Excellent hotel with friendly staff. Outdoor pool was clean and spacious, however- not easy to get a lounge chair. Everyday chairs were taken with towels over them. We had to ask staff to remove towels so that we could have somewhere to relax. One day there was a private event, so half of the lounge chairs were taken away for the private event. So made a difficult situation to get a chair even worse. One other disappointment - we upgraded in price on Expedia for partial ocean view. What we had was more of a peek at the ocean. You could barely see it from our balcony on the second floor. My husband asked at the front desk if we could pay even more for a better view and was told “sorry, we cannot upgrade you because you used a third party.” Other than that we thought the hotel was good for the price."
