Great location in church hill

Stayed with family with 2 young kids. We were able to walk and bike to restaurants. There is a playground for elementary school across the street. Easy street parking. For those with little kids just not that the shower head is fixed and there is no tub (not problem with us for short stay)

Great location

This basement unit is in a great historical neighborhood, is quiet at night and is close enough to walk downtown. The only downside is that it may have some mold issues as our noses got stuffy shortly after we entered the house. We stayed only two nights and spent very little time in the house so it was not a huge issue, but I would not want to hang out in it. The host was very good at communicating and also allowed an early check in which we very much appreciated.

Small Church Hill Jewel

Ideal for 2 adults, possibly with 1 child. Well-designed space. Nice small bathroom. Comfortable sitting room. Wonderful upscale neighborhood, close to shops, bakeries and a few wonderful restaurants. Very communicative and helpful host. Kitchen well-equipped. Only cabeat: steps to lower-level apartment have no handrail or other support. People with handicaps or other walking difficulties will need a support person to navigate the steps. My wife was ab bit scared without me guiding her.Younger more spritely people should have no problems. Altogether we had a very pleasant stay.

Exactly what we needed

We have family in the area, so this was simply private sleeping space for us. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. It is centrally located, and we felt safe in the neighborhood. The owner was responsive to our questions, and check in/check out was no contact and simple. We are grateful that it was available at the last minute on a holiday weekend and for a reasonable price.

Simply Modern Style

This cute little apartment is nestled in a great location. The apartment is within walking distance of many staples in the Richmond area. The owner has a nice printed guide in the living area that is easy reading. I also was able to have open and quick communication when additional questions did come about. The apartment was a little cold when I arrived and did take a bit to warm up. I arrived just as a cold front and some rain blew in so this may be the reason for the chilled temp inside. The apartment was clean and had all basic amenities as described in the booking. I do wish that there was entertainment in the bedroom but that’s just a small personal preference and would not deter my positive review. The beds were very comfortable and had clean bedding. There was a bit of noise from the upstairs apartment but that can be expected in any two story rental I suppose. However, the noise did not become an overwhelming distraction or cause any noise issue later than 10pm. The check in and check out process was easy and desirable. Overall I would stay here again if I’m ever back in the area!
