"Very good prices for the room, the bar and restaurant. Free coffee in the lobby. 👍 The hotel is so quiet. You hear nothing within your room, which is non existent nowadays, with the cookie cutter franchise hotel chains. All kinds of quiet, well lit, comfortable places in the hotel, to sit and read, on comfortable couches and chairs by the historic windows. The hotel is majestic and the rich history is great. I love the history museum in the Lower Level. No extra charges: Free Parking No resort fees Free, really nice, work out facility, open 24 hours. Nearby, 10 minute walk to Elmwood Avenue: Great bars, quick places to eat, awesome Pubs, and finer dining restaurants on Elmwood Ave. Incredibly diverse neighborhood. Everyone is so nice and accepting. Didn't have a bad meal or experience on Elmwood Ave for the week we were at The Richardson. I cannot recommend The Richardson, the hotel staff, the area or our experience, any higher than "Incredible" It's now our "go to" hotel every time we come to Buffalo. Buffalo people are so darn nice.❤️"

"The house was as described and clean. Cindy, the host, was very responsive to any questions we had. Everything was laid out well and easy to use. Parking is in back, down a fairly narrow driveway on the side of the house, we had two vehicles and parked the bigger one on the street, that was just a bit easier for us. There was plenty of street parking. The neighborhood felt safe and there is a large park just across the street. The checkout instructions were simple and not overly extra. We would stay again."

"This property was very outdated, unappealing walk up which I’ll chalk up to winter, hallway roof stains, very worn out noisy uneven wooden floors, old rusted vents, bad lighting with old shower. I feel bad for writing this, but it was really unexpected. The beds were the newest things and were clean and slept well. The couch felt worn, living room table wasn’t clean and overall the place just didn’t feel clean. Some may think it’s vintage, but I wouldn’t recommend. Owner needs to update. "
