8.6/10 Excellent! (332 reviews)
The staff were all lovely, very friendly and helpful. I felt unwell one day and asked the receptionist to arrange a taxi to take me to a pharmacy. He very kindly did so.
Food was great, good selection at breakfast.
Bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room was really quiet.

It was impossible to sleep with the trains right beside the hotel running all night and the horns from the car traffic. Would not recommend.

9.4/10 Exceptional! (897 reviews)
It isn't possible to find a better location, right by the palace museum and plaza, shopping promenade, and even a very good little laundromat a block away. Small and understated, my room was small but comfortable. Would have been tight for more than 1 person, but I did have a queen bed. Nice housekeeping staff.

Walking is possible, although the roads do not have shoulders, so if walking and dragging luggage, it's not only cumbersome, but it can be a bit dangerous as not all drivers are paying attention and some drive too fast.
