"Wonderful hotel, large, very clean, bathroom hot water and great shower, beautiful view of beach, staff fantastic. Breakfast brilliant, shout out to Francisco always said hello and stopped to chat. Andrei chef, great omelettes and fried eggs. Priscilla, helpful when we had an incident in room, very polite , thank you all!!"

"I booked a ocean view room but when I arrived the hotel staff provide me a handicap room on the third floor with no view to the ocean; I complained and the changed me to another room on the same floor with view to the bar and pool ... I had complained and finally got the room I paid for. Also, every single morning out of the 5 days the maintenance crew was banging and using electrical tools - I complained but no solution was offered. The area where they serve breakfast was under maintenance also and the noice was strong - I complained but the lady on charge of the staff told me that they can not do anything because they cannot stop the maintenance ... this was at 10:00am ... the time for breakfast was until 10:30am ... they couldn't wait to start the maintenance until breakfast time was over .... I regret choosing that 500 dollars night hotel just to have issues with not providing me the correct room and all the noice for maintenance ...."

"I loved this hotel! We had the most beautiful floor to ceiling window view of the beach, the favelas and Christ the Redeemer! The hotel was located in a pretty good location a little further from Copacabana and Ipanema but was still a nice neighborhood with Sao Conrado beach right across the street. The amenities at the hotel were great! The breakfast had a lot of options but just was okay. Overall I would book again!"

"They advertise a balcony with the room! It's a 2 ft ledge you can barely stand on! You also get a kettle for hot water but no cups etc. The pictures and description of the rooms were very deceiving considering the price. The room was not very clean and had mold in the shower. Our first room didn't have a working tv and was smaller then what was advertised so they moved us! Second room wasn't much better! They did fix the fact we had no not water! The breakfast was big but not very inviting! Most of the front desk employees were very helpful. But when we arrived with our luggage (2 women over 65!) The guy at the door just stood there as we struggled to get our suitcases up the side ramp! We should of left then!"
