"This is a beautiful property on the grounds of a chateau in the countryside. Peaceful and lovely, with very friendly owners who speak several languages and are helpful in suggesting sites to visit nearby. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms were spacious and comfortable."

"A beautiful beautiful place in a wonderful location. The room was absolutely stunning - huge and with fantastic decor and furniture which felt really homely as well as luxurious. The two hosts were lovely and always helpful and interesting to talk to. Breakfast was fantastic, the spa area was great. When we went for a meal at a nearby restaurant the hosts even gave us a lift there and back. Just wonderful - thoroughly recommend staying here. "

"We had a lovely few days relaxing in the countryside. Great property, lovely open space for kids to play and gorgeous peaceful views across the valley. We did a day trip to Paris, taking the train from L’Aigle. Check in and out very easy and Nathalie an attentive and helpful host. Would recommend!"

"With grandparents, parents and children, including one with severe autism, this was an ideal place for our holiday. The property was stunning, the setting beautiful and the pool inviting. Plenty of space for everyone and a lovely secure garden area. The layout of the bedrooms (doubles/singles) wasn’t quite as listed, but we were able to adapt easily enough. Great to find a holiday location that is so welcoming to the disabled community. The play barn was a huge hit with the children and they enjoyed making friends with other guests, despite the language barrier! Kitchen was well equipped and the huge dining table was super for family meals."

"Tired property in a nice town. Room's are very basic; only economy rooms were offered thru Hotels.com, which meant no en-suite!! Check if booking this way. Self-serve breakfast OK at €8 - not much choice though. It's OK for one night if travelling this way... but it ain't great."

"We found this farmhouse through Vrbo as we wanted a decent sized house for a large family group. The house was perfect with a decent sized garden and plenty of room for us all to spread out. The stairs were a little bit tricky but the rooms and bathrooms were well appointed. Angelique answered our many questions and the girls loved Tsunami the cat too! The location is ideal for visiting Falaise, Argentan (nearest big town) and Le Mans is not too far either. Bayeux and the Normandy beaches are about an hour's drive too. There are no shops for several kilometres so be prepared to drive anywhere / everywhere. The Intermarche in Argentan is the best supermarket for stocking up. Also worth a look, if the weather is nice, is Le Lac de Rabondage, about 14kms from the house. A good day out if the weather is warm. Altogether a very relaxing, straightforward and enjoyable holiday."

"Novel experience having Bed&Breakfast in former stables. The refurbishment had been done to a high standard with attractive decor. A delightful French breakfast with croissant, bread, cheese, and jams. We liked the fact that car parking was behind security gates. Only booked for 1 night, but would happily have stayed longer. Would recommend."
