"Modern, clean and comfortable hotel situated right across the street from the train station, which makes it highly convenient. Two blocks away from a huge shopping mall, where you have plenty dining options. You can easily walk to the center of town, it won’t take more than 20 minutes. The young staff were very friendly, and efficient. The buffet restaurant is great value with very delicious food options. Highly recommend !!!!"

"Pros - Best breakfast in a hotel I’ve had in a while Easy check in (luckily room was ready for early check in) Clean spa facilities Great location near everything you need for a stay in Chamonix Cons Terrible pillows had a back ache every morning No fridge in rooms Kids in the spa took away from the relaxing element (did have adult only hours but perhaps if more were added throughout the day) Would definitely stay again despite the pillows and overall had a lovely stay. "I didint know that hotel was only located from 32nd floor and above. To get to reception was scary, I understand that the entrance was under construction but it was very tiring to get 32nd floor by the slow lift and then get another lift to get to your room. My check in was sweet, I had a very friendly guy who was half French half English he was very helpful and check out was smooth but there was a long queue for it. Room service was extremely poor as asking a simple black tea bag became very challenging with room service lady who couldn’t speak a word of English. Hotel is locating very close to Westfield shopping center and all the main train stations and trams. So traveling there wasn’t hard. It was very disappointing that hotel just wanna charge for anything such as late check out which many hotels are offering it for free. That didint feel good."

"I booked this hotel specifically for location, comfort and air conditioning. When I arrived it was warm/hot. When I noticed the air conditioning didn’t work I went to reception I see what I was doing wrong. It turned out that the air conditioning doesn’t work until mid May. I was there the first week in May. The location was great if you are taking the train. The rooms were clean. The amenities such as soap and shampoo were minimal. "

"Hôtel de Congrès is in a slightly interesting area - some good transport connections but it's not the easiest hotel to get to. It's in the middle of a housing estate which you have to climb stairs up to (and then work out which way to go to get to the actual entrance of the hotel). The staff are very helpful although early check-in for us didn't happen: we were able to use a loo in the hotel and leave our suitcases before heading back out for the afternoon. Reception is open all night. Breakfast is from 6:30 every day - this was good as we checked out early but were able to eat before we left. Really nice food and a good selection of it including viennoiseries, cereal, bread, fresh fruit and yogurts, crepes and a really nice range of juices and water."

"Stayed in a suite which had a kitchen and two bedrooms. Great for staying with small children. Kids loved the breakfast. Location was great for the park."
