We had a wonderful stay. All the little extras made us feel comfortable and at home. It was super nice to have the pool, tennis/pickle ball court and river access just steps away. The backyard was great for our dogs and we enjoyed the hot tub outside our back door. We hope to return!
Absolutely loved our stay at the Mt. Hood Alpine Chalet with all its amenities and thought out decor. Fireplace prepared with wood and kindling, hot tub clean and preheated, propane hooked up to bbq, cooking utensils and little goodies (try the homemade hot chocolate!) in the kitchen made our stay very enjoyable and recommendable. Communication with the owner was super quick, helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay there again :)
We loved how there was something for everyone in our family to enjoy. Our two year old loved the kiddie loft, and the gas fire pit was a convenient place to relax after bedtimes.
Location was great for going on walks. There’s beautiful trails all around the neighborhood.
We had a comfortable stay and would visit again.
We loved our stay in this chalet close to Mount Hood. The house was exactly as described, the beds super comfortable, and the hot tub so nice to slip into after a day of hiking to soothe sore muscles. The house had everything we needed and we enjoyed the extra touches of the tea and hot chocolate provided, games, and plenty of towels and toilet paper. Would stay there again. The owner was very communicative and provided info on anything you needed.
Our stay was cozy and relaxing! The yard and hot tub was our favorite part. The house was spacious and clean, kitchen was fully stocked. This was huge as we made use of all the things. We look forward to returning in the future! :)
Wow, what a great property! The home is just as pictured. It’s clean and bright. The hot tub was lovely on the cold mornings and the pool and river were a quick walk away on the hot afternoons. We traveled with two kids and there were so many amenities ready for them - washable sleeping bags, books, toys etc. the nook in the middle bedroom is delightful. The house was stocked for the adults too- beds were comfortable, plenty of pans for cooking, and dishes /utensils so you don’t have to wash after every meal. Plenty of towels too! The neighbors were all friendly. Overall exceptional.
We spent Thanksgiving week and had the whole family – eight of us – and were very comfortable. The area is lovely and we enjoyed short walks to the river and drives up to Mount Hood. My wife and I had not seen snow in about 15 years, and loved seeing and playing in it up near the mountain.
It was a great experience from beginning to end. We hope to come back someday soon!
All the beds are very comfortable. We used the hot tub every day and also the fire pit in the backyard. The fenced backyard was great for the puppy dog. We could not believe how well stocked the kitchen was and you really had everything we needed.
Plenty of fun restaurants around to explore. The town of Sandy is just a short drive away and has everything you need. Make sure and find the donut shop.

Our Summer Stay Was Okay
We stayed here over Labor Day weekend with the family and grandparents. The first thing that stood out was how narrow the house is compared to the pictures. Nevertheless, there was enough room for the family.
The main reason we booked this property was because it had a community pool. Unbeknownst to us, the pool was closed the entire time we were there. There was no communication from the owner prior to our arrival about it and requests for a partial reimbursement went unanswered.
The neighborhood is a mix of vacation cabins, houses, and dumpy hoarder properties.
The chalet was well stocked with everything you need to cook or play. The hot tub and firepit were nice. The location is close to a lot of outdoor activities Mt. Hood has to offer.
We booked this house on a last minute trip, we loved everything about it. It was very clean, spacious, loved the back yard. It will definitely be our home every trip up to Mt.hood
