Wanting to end a long holiday with a couple of comfortable nights winding down we chose to spend two nights at Burg Schwarzenstein. Less than an hour from Frankfurt airport overlooking the Rhine valley it was perfectly placed for this. Whilst there is not much to do on site, the surrounding restaurants, villages and forests make this a great location whether travelling as a couple or family. Having been on the road for over 2 months now in France and Germany , it was such a pleasure to find genuinely friendly and helpful staff from housekeeping through to front desk. They have gone out of their way to make this the best hotel stay so far for me.
Car parking is excellent, meeting facilities in the lounge are great, the room seems almost new, well arranged and most importantly, the air conditioning works a treat!
