"We loved our stay in the luxury cottage. It was bright and clean and perfect for our family of 3. The location is great for doing things in the south such as Diamond Beach/Jökulsárlón Lagoon, Múlagljúfur Canyon, and Svartifoss. We would recommend the luxury cottage. "

"The rooms are beautiful and spacious and comfy. The staff is exemplary. The hot tub sauna scene is awesome, the lounging areas are amazing. The shared spaces are stunning. But this hotel has a ways to go to be truly worth the money. The food is only so-so. I had a vegetarian dish that was flat out not good (the nut steak) although our waiter Alex was AMAZING. And dinner was $$$. My husband’s fish was only so-so also. You need a much better chef or lower prices. I expected one of the best meals of my life and was very disappointed. We had cheese sandwiches from along the road the other two nights rather than waste our money at the restaurant! In the rooms work is needed as well. The temperature control is unworkable, the light switches are literally impossible to figure out, there are NO hooks for anything, and there is no refrigerator! For THAT PRICE?!?!? I loved this hotel and I was very disappointed by a few key things. And we stayed 3 nights. It was a LOT of money. I expected an exemplary experience, which is completely within reach. Especially with such amazing amazing staff. "

"We had a great experience staying at Hali. The pictures of the property on Expedia kept us wondering what we are going to get but were amazingly surprised with what we got! It was full upper level of a beautiful cottage (which they call apartment). The breakfast had a wide spread and lot of deli made with Lamb meat. "

"I couldn’t have been more pleased with my stay in this room. From the moment I walked in, everything felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. The room was spacious and well-lit, with a modern yet cozy design that made it feel like a home away from home. Every detail had been considered—from the incredibly comfortable bed and soft linens to the blackout curtains that made for a restful night’s sleep. The room had all the essentials and then some: a mini fridge, coffee maker, charging ports by the bed, strong Wi-Fi, and a smart TV with streaming options. The bathroom was spotless, with plush towels, great water pressure, and high-quality toiletries. "
