Summary:
This elegant apartment is close to the city centre and harbour area. The apartment is furnished with design furniture and has free parking on site.
Located only a few minute walk from Reykjavík's main shopping street and bohemian old harbour area, but still in a quiet, family friendly neighbourhood with short distances to all amenities.

The Space:
This elegant apartment is close to the city centre and harbour area and has free parking. The apartment is furnished with design furniture.
The apartment has one double bed in the bedroom and a sleeping sofa for two in the living room.

All bed linen, towels, soap, shampoo etc is provided.
Free wireless internet available as well.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole apartment. Everything within the apartment is private and for you to do as please.

The Neighborhood:
The apartment is in a wonderful neighborhood next to the old harbor and whale-watching center. The neighbourhood is quiet but central. Although you are downtown you don't get all the noise like from a regular busy street since the apartment is located just above the most busy part.
Only few minute walk to old harbour, Harpa Concert Hall, restaurants, museums, nightlife and shops.

Grocery stores
The apartment is very close to Grandi where there are 3 large supermarkets, Krónan, Bónus and Nettó.

Getting Around:
Transportation of all sorts is very close, as this is the down town area. Taxis, buses or the sightseeing tours.

Other Things to Note:
We have cameras monitoring the common areas of the building and front doors, for your safety.

Cots, cribs, high seats and other children/baby furniture are available upon request.

Parking is easy to find in front of the apartment. Three private parking spots in front of the apartment.

Wonderful long-term rental

Moved to Iceland for a summer internship and couldn't have found a better apartment. Location made it easy to walk everywhere and take public transit. Management was very responsive and kind. Highly recommend.

Perfect apartment if it would just been clean

Location: absolutely great, 3-4 minutes walking to the shopping area in downtown Reykjavik, bus stop 2 minutes walking, grocery shopping (all 3 of the grocery franchises stores in Island) only 5 minutes walking, many tourist attractions 5-10 minutes. Communication with agency: really great, always very fast (often within 5 minutes), friendly, and helpful answers. Check-in and -out: easily done within seconds. Apartment: everything there, what you might need, nicely selected. Cleanliness: very poor. I came in and the bathtub was brown instead of white, there were food rests in pots, pans, plates, and cutlery, and hairs everywhere (in the bed, on towels, in the kitchen drawers, on plates etc.). I stayed there 2.5 months and spend the first 4 days cleaning the complete apartment. Furthermore, there were nearly on every piece of fabric a vast number of spots from former residents. I put away the carpets for my stay and covered the sofa with a blanket in order to feel fine there. I usually do not clean, when I come into a new accommodation and stayed in Iceland 7 months. I usually had the numerous accommodations only for 1-3 nights, so you can imagine, I had so many rooms (hotel, apartments, private) and all were ok to very good cleaned. This one was one of two accommodations which were too dirty for me. Summary: if only the residents and the cleaning stuff would treat this apartment well, then it would be the perfect apartment wether for short or for long stays. rtment

Cultural immersion in city center Reykjavik

Beautiful, comfortable, well-located apartment on charming street close to restaurants & many attractions. Learning curve on using appliances/shower & never got tv to work. Directions to close-by grocery store & possible arrangements with airport pick-up shuttle would have been helpful. I would definitely recommend this place—we saved big money during our 4 day stay by cooking our own meals.

Great place to launch your days in Reykjavík

Great location. Easy walk to both harbor and city center, shops, restaurants and museums. Felt safe and secure throughout our stay.

Lovely quiet location by the harbour

Great apartment and perfect for our week long stay. The bath was a real bonus and needed after our long day trips out. The location is ideal for pick ups at the Grandi hotel. It’s also near the harbour where there are some lovely places to eat. There are two supermarkets close by and it’s about a ten minute walk to downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

Downtown flat next to harbor.

Excellent location, excellent one bedroom just around the corner from one of best restaurants in town. Easy walk to the water. Recommend, excellent value.

Schöne Ferienwohnung am Rande der Innenstadt

Sehr modern eingerichtete Wohnung. Die Küche ist für 2 gut genug ausgestattet. Die Lage des Objekts ist super. Parkplatz vor der Tür vorhanden. Check-In erfolgt über Schlüsselkästen. Einzig anstrengend hier, dass man jedes Mal zum Aufschließen der Haustür wieder erneut den Schlüssel aus dem Kasten holen muss. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen :)
