"I had been avoiding this property for years, based solely on its appearance from I-80. My wife and I needed an overnight in the Reno area for a medical procedure and Western Village had the lowest rate. Not needing anything fancy, I booked a non-smoking King with marina view.
Finding the property once we exited the freeway wasn’t a problem, but finding where to check-in was, as it was not well marked. Turned out, the registration desk is inside the casino by the entrance. Once we got to our room, I was quite pleasantly surprised at how well-kept the room was. Nice fixtures, spacious shower, and comfortable bed. I’ll definitely consider Western Village the next time I need a place to stay in the Reno area."
