The Country Inn of Lancaster

4/10 Poor

"Rained all weekend and had a leak in our room from what appeared to be the roof. Sign for pool said 10 they turned the lights off at 910. Breakfast day 1 was fine but they got a bus Saturday night and was wiped out. I was told oh she went down to get more....never seeing the more."

"It's a 2 star hotel. There was a little fuzzy hair in the sink and the phone made noises just sitting there. I was afraid that would keep me up, but it eventually calmed down. The front desk person just said to unplug it. Breakfast bar was OK and the people were nice enough."

"We stayed two nights while visiting relatives. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was fine, offering basics. The hotel was located right off of a very busy highway and was extremely noisy in the mornings. All at all, I would recommend staying here as it was a good price point."

Red Caboose Motel

"Super fun theming and atmosphere! Definitely a unique experience. The only downside I would say is be careful what you are booking. A "couples caboose" is only half of a caboose and very tight to where one person has to move to let the other person be able to walk by. The pictures on the website don't tell you which caboose they go with and you don't know which one you're getting until you check in. Otherwise it was neat and I loved having the Strasburg railroad go right past!"

"It was very clean and well kept! There was a really nice diner right on the property! We ate at the restaurant down the road, it was Italian food it was amazing! The staff at the hotel including the young lady in charge of breakfast was super nice. The security guard gave us a lot of advice on things to do and places to go try! We definitely will be staying there again! 😉oh and it had a really nice pool also!"
