Cozy hideaway on your own corner of our homestead

Centrally located between Lancaster and Reading with easy access to the turnpike and Rte 222 .
Come and enjoy! Whether it is a quiet weekend away on our country homestead, exploring our local antique markets, discovering Lancaster, experiencing Amish country or searching for work accommodations , we look forward to hosting you! You are welcome to explore our back woods, wade in the stream, have a sampling of what we are harvesting on the homestead from the gardens directly behind the BnB . And please enjoy some marshmallows over the fire pit! The local traffic does get a bit noisy at times ( sound machine and earplugs are provided for light sleepers) but this does not take away from the privacy you will enjoy or the beauty of nature around you!

We enjoyed our stay, close enough to shops and restaurants to be accessible and off to itself enough to be cozy without being crammed in the midst of the hustle and bustle. Clean and Inviting with snacks and toys which was so thoughtful for our children! Highly recommend!

Nice Girls Weekend

Great home away from home!

Very clean and comfortable. Lots of extras and wonderful welcome basket awaited us. Beautiful backyard to explore and relax in as well. Won't be disappointed staying here.

The property was so easy to find and absolutely gorgeous… the place itself was so well thought out with everything you’d need and you literally won’t be able to stop saying how cute everything is. From the goodie basket left for us to the gorgeous outdoor spaces - absolutely nothing fell short of expectations. Very much enjoyed our stay here and when I’m back in PA this will be my first option every time!

Easter weekend

We rented Annette's place for our son and daughter-in-law for the weekend. They loved it! They especially liked that there was room to roam about the gardens and woods. Thanks Annette! I'm sure we'll be renting again!

Very comfortable stay

We very much enjoyed our stay - the host was very helpful, both in pre-stay communications as well as with in-property explanations of where to find such things as kitchen items, complimentary snacks, etc. It was a very comfortable "country retreat", and we would certainly return to stay there again.

Great trip!

This is our 3rd stay at Annette's wonderful hide away. The place is very warm, coxy and feels like home. The decor is lovely and changes each time we've been for the season. The home is centrally located so you can get to Lancaster, Reading and Great place to stay! everything in between.

Great country setting

This place was wonderful - all of the essential amenities plus many personal touches like a welcoming basket of goodies - the yard is spectacular with flowers and wildlife and guests are welcome to pick tomatoes and other produce from the garden area - the location is also very convenient to the Lancaster county attractions

Great place off the beaten path

Amazing property! Very comfortable. Host provided movies to watch, snacks, and games to play. There was a garden out back, and our girls loved being able to go out and pick a pumpkin! This location was a very enjoyable stay.
