Was my ‘go to’ in Adelboden, but the attentiveness of staff is now lacking, and the front desk personnel were so unwelcoming (you only get once chance to make a first impression), we’ll probably head somewhere else in town for future stays. In the past, the pool, views, and suites were such a draw, but all of those things lose their appeal when the staff make you feel like you’re hanging at a hostel. "

"I called the night before my arrival and was told that I would have to walk from the bus station to the hotel. It was not easy as uphill and I had two bags. When i arrived ( rather hot amd bothered), the receptionists said I should have called them to pick me up! Once checked in, I called reception three times and room service (there is no mini bar) and no k e picked up. I was told the phone system was not working (although they did get it operating). Electric sockets in hotel were not...
