"Stopped the night on way to Calais ferry. Unfortunately that night only one bar in walking distance was serving food and they were full. So we had drive to find an eatery. Wont be stopping in Ardres again."

"Bed and Breakfast was in a very quite location, which ensured a good nights sleep. The room was clean and spacious there are chairs and a settee sit in and read. We were not aware of the pool or the sauna which is a nice feature, breakfast was very good and the propritior good company and very helpful. It is a 3 KM trip to Wimeraux , which is a perfect location with a sandy beach and promonade too, Bolougne is only another 7km for shopping, beware the shops close at 12:00 on a Sunday!!"

"Really nice hotel, great if you want to explore a bit of the city and conveniently located for some nice restaurants. There was some free parking over the road. Room itself was clean and had a great view, no air con but they had provided a couple of large fans."

"We found this to be a lovely hotel only a short walk to the town centre and sea front.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and comfortable.
Car parking was unclear - there was clearly car parking at the hotel as we saw it in use but were advised we had to park on the street. It wasn’t a problem when we stayed but I can imagine it being difficult in high season"
"The host for this property was very welcoming and attentive. The views are spectacular and the breakfast was wonderful beautifully fresh eggs from the chickens you see around the property.
I did expect it to be attached to a shopping centre and expected it to have a restaurant as these were in the hotels.com description and neither of these statements are true.
But there is a shopping centre within 3 miles and by the sea there are a number of restaurants which are a short drive away ."
