"All in all it's a solid location and easy to get around. They have 2 treadmills in the gym, both of which do not work properly if your goal is to have somewhere to exercise after work. The staff is awesome."

"This is a truck stop motel with a nice lawn and an okay pool. It happens to be near the ocean with a couple hundred years of sandy beach. Without the beach it wouldn’t be worth much. The rooms are gross and worn out. We were disappointed in the condition considering we paid quite a bit for our stay. We would not stay here again. "

"Staff was very hospitable, the property was very clean and up-to-date, and the room was clean, comfortable and with a nice view of the bay. The breakfast offering was great, tasty and aplenty and the staff was very pleasant."

"Solid rental home. It was one of the more affordable homes in the Paia area which was nice for our budget. Kitchen was nice and basic cooking needs. AC and washer/dryer worked well. The view of the ocean was great! WiFi worked well. Host was responsive and communicated well. I would suggest updated furniture and outdoor amenities as well as providing bathroom essentials!"

"Pros-Check in and check out was super easy and clear. Parking was free and great, we were able to park right by our unit. It is central so close to lots of stuff. Shower was hot and stayed hot for awhile! Host was quick and clear on communication. There is a microwave, small ice box, stove top burner, couple pots and pans. The AC worked well and the TV is big! Bed is comfy but squeaky. Cons The walls are thin so we could everything upstairs and around. The only mirror in there was a small one above the bathroom sink, Im 5'1 so I could only see my eyes and forehead. You can tell the building is old there was wood rot visible. There were markings on the door which could easily be covered with paint. There was a wet smell/odor in the room. We bought an air freshner to help with the smell. The freshener helped while we were there but the smell is there everytime we return! The furniture is old and looks dirty/musky, I would recommend the host replacing it or just dumping the chair. The towels matched the room colors but looked worn out. Overall, if they renovate this place then I might return for the location, convient parking and host communication. This place has good potential but maybe needs more tender love and care."

"My room was in the corner. There was a bright light just outside the window that was shining through the blinds, so it felt like daylight the entire night. It was awful. I had to get a towel from the bathroom to cover my eyes so I could get some rest. There is no overnight staff, so if you have late checkin and discover any issues, there is no one to address those issues for you. The parking lot was a little ways down the street from the property. Poorly lit and across the stress from the gas station. I didn't feel completely safe as there are some homeless and people watching from across the street. Would have preferred closer parking; however, there was the option to park close for luggage dropoff, which was very helpful. I arrived late and left first thing in the morning. I felt the room was overpriced for what I had to deal with--street noise/traffic and the bright light shining in. But it was clean and I'm so happy I thought to cover my eyes with a towel; otherwise, I wouldn't have gotten any sleep. Front desk staff was helpful with tourist information options and there is a nice vibe overall to the premises. "
