"Really nice hotel. Stayed for only one night but had food and drink in the restaurant. Order burgers but steaks came out, staff were very helpful to rectify the order. The desert ordered however took an age to come out. Minor issue with the plug in the sink being broken and the temperature was warm and the room lacked Air con so it was a warm night. All in all though it was a positive and I would stay again."

The property has been restored with great care, keeping some of the original elements of the forge. All areas were very clean, the balcony room was comfortable and quiet. The nordic spa was wonderful! Breakfast was superb with ample choice of local products. The surrounding area offered lots of opportunities for outdoor adventures and scenic drives. Definitely recommend, and we plan to return!"
