"The house is lovely, with a beautiful view over the surrounding pastoral landscape from the rooftop terrace. The facilities are good, bedrooms comfortable, kitchen well supplied. The location in a small village east of Evora and west of Monsaraz is a very good base for exploring. Communication with the owners and leading up to check in could have been better."

"Great rustic and charming flat on the edge of town. Centrally located to visit wonderful places in all directions. Local foods and wines are fabulous. Bed was not the most comfortable and tight for 2 people. Check in and out was easy. Freaks have lemons on the tree in the back patio. Lovely!!"

"This was a unique experience for us -- staying on a cork farm. The setting was stunning - the views amazing and you will truly get an authentic Alentejo experience. Note that is it not close to Evora, so keep that in mind. That said, I don't know that we've ever met a kinder and more welcoming host.
