Beatiful property and location
This property was wonderful with a breathtaking view over the Mediterranean and an amazing terrace. The location in Le Rayol was perfect, up on a hill overlooking the sea with a view of Ile du Levant and Cap Benat. Pierre was a very kind and accommodating host who was eager to make our stay pleasant.
It's useful to know that the property is the lower floor of a hillside house. It has a bathroom and separate toilet, one bedroom, a large living room where additional guests could sleep on a pull-out couch, and a kitchen. The kitchen has a dishwasher and there is also a washing machine in a back room. The owners of this family vacation home live in the upstairs of the house when they are visiting. Though this did not bother us during our stay, it would have been nice to know in advance and might be of interest for guests in search of more privacy. The property itself could use some refreshing. We were apparently the first guests of the season, but the apartment was rather musty upon arrival and needed to be aired out thoroughly. It was also dusty and, aside from the bed having been made, it did not seem like it had been prepared for our stay. We had to wash all dishes, cookware, and utensils prior to use because everything was dusty. Towels were old and stained and could use replacing. Basics like trash bags and dish soap were not at hand, but provided by the host upon request.
Though the host tried to fix it, there was NO INTERNET. All in all, we had a lovely stay.
