"We appreciated the immaculate clean room and bathroom. There were a lot of outlets that were accessible for charging electronics. The towels were nice and soft. The bed pillows need to be replaced. The parking was ample and the snacks and breakfast had good selections."

"The cabin was great. It was very clean, things were easy to find, the hot tub was very enjoyable. I was very relaxed while staying there. Host was very friendly. He told us if we needed anything just let him. The landscaping was beautiful. The cabin had everything we could think of."

"This place exceeded my expectations! It was absolutely stunning pulling up to it and the barn next door. The house was stocked with everything we needed plus extras (the muffins were to die for!!!) We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, listening to the cicadas and birds. It was exactly the relaxing, unplugged getaway we were looking for. Doug and Jenn were amazing hosts and called to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything — they even called on the day we left to check in with us as well. Jenn was so nice! I think our most favorite part (aside from historical feel and look to the place) was the 3 kitties that came for daily visits with us on the porch! We loved that so much. We are already planning our next trip back! Can’t wait to try this place out in the Fall when the leaves change, I’m sure it’ll be even more stunning than it already is. HIGHLY recommend staying here (especially if you’re a history buff like us)!"
