"OUR ROOM WAS CLEAN. THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE. THE BREAKFAST WAS SIMPLE BUT ENOUGH TO EAT. PARKING IS EASY. THE MOTEL IS CLOSE TO THE MAIN PART OF HELEN BUT TOO FAR TO WALK. LOTS OF FREE PARKING NEAR THE MAIN HUB OF HELEN ACTVITIES AND STORES/BARS/EATERIES."

"House was clean and well maintained. The host gave good directions to get to the house. Kitchen had what we needed for our girls weekend. We didn’t really cook but we did bring our own crockpot so supper was ready when we got back from hiking. Plenty of towels/washcloths. There were extra blankets. It does stay cooler in the basement (expected)but they do have an electric fireplace to knock the chill out. We loved the porch and porch swing. We felt safe but would have liked curtains/blinds for the sliding glass doors/french doors. I wish there was a combination key pad for the door. I was so nervous I would lose the house key. Be careful on the driveway. Remember you are parked under trees and sometimes trees like to drop black walnuts or limbs. Overall good experience. Close to the hiking action and town action."
