  • After husking and grilling coconuts following amazing recipes I promised I won't disclose, we wanted some rest by the lagoon to enjoy the surroundings and incredible locals (those guys are absolutely amazing!!). We discovered this place slightly out of town but still at walking distance where we could enjoy the lagoon with Kayaks or even walking during low tide. We could enjoy the beaches on small islands facing the deck only inhabited by beautiful crabs. #LifeAtExpedia

Location was great, walkable to many restaurants and the Muri night market, the buses also work great for getting around the island. The bikes they have at the cabins are also great for a trek around the island if the weather is decent. Bed in the main floor was comfy and the AC worked great

Beautiful, spacious accommodation.

Amazing, spacious accommodation with beautiful views being across the road from the ocean. Bikes in good condition, used multiple times. 12 minute walk to Muri beach, night markets and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Great to have the pool and a lovely view over the lagoon. Could walk to restaurants so a car wasn’t necessary. Owners quick to respond and helpful. Wish entire unit was air conditioned and that kayaks were located where two retirees could use them. We wanted to kayak the lagoon, but couldn’t have brought it back up the steep driveway.

I wish I could give the Villa 10 stars. It was impeccable, with lots of space and thoughtful amenities. The view is breathtaking, overlooking the lagoon and you often get a nice breeze. Just a short walk down the hill takes you to the crystal clear lagoon where you can swim with sea turtles and tropical fish. They have paddle boards, kayaks and bikes for you to use. The private wifi and smart rv didn’t really work for us but the DVDs were enough (and you can get a vodaphone wifi pass at almost any store). The kitchen is well-stocked. The kids loved the pool and trampoline. I hope we will someday return and I have already recommended it to many friends.

There was 7 of us that stayed for 7 nights and the Muri vista villas accommodated us perfectly. Spacious house right by the next and minutes down the road from the shops and markets. Loving having a pool too for when it was too hot to go to the beach we’d just have a quick dunk in the pool.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The villa had everything we could possibly need during our trip. We had cooking and washing facilities. Villa is spacious for a family of five. Had access to pool, kayaks, paddle boards. Short distance drive to shops, activities, market. Hosts were amazing and hospitable.

Fantastic Property

This property is the best self contained property I have stayed at on Rarotonga. It is well maintained, clean, tidy and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. With a pool as well as bikes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards for use during your stay for free (all of which are excellently maintained). The view is amazing, the house spacious with plenty of room for large groups. It is in a perfect location, so close to the beach, and is excellent value for money. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again without a doubt. Thanks so much Rose and Scott what a great place you have.

Great location, friendly owners. We were 2 families in one villa and you had enough privacy. The use of the kayaks and paddle boards was a bonus and the availability of the life jackets. Mooring cafe just up the road has the best fresh fish sandwiches and great place for kids too. Muri night market wasn’t too far away either. Scott the owner was there every morning cleaning the pool etc and answered any questions you had. Highly recommend this place to anyone. We were also very lucky to have great neighbours during our stay.

We have just returned from 6 nights in Rarotonga and we were really impressed with our lovely Villa at Muri Vista Villas, providing us with plenty of space to relax and all the comforts of home. The views across the lagoon are stunning and the gardens and grounds are maintained daily and are immaculate. We loved the privacy we had away from the busy resort and felt we had our own resort as we were able to enjoy the pool without having to share it with a resort full of people. A great Villa for families

We really enjoyed staying at muri Vista villas with our 5 and 7 year old. The house is well presented and equipped. The pool is a good size and a great bonus especially with kids. Muri is about 5 mins walk and you can see the bay from the house. Beautiful and we would recommend.

Fantastic all around

I could not have asked for better accomodations, especially for the price paid. The view of the lagoon from the front of the villa is stunning. Truly a five star experience for me - a self catering type. The villas are exceptionally managed - very clean, simply and attractively furnished. I was so impressed that the owners thought to include all sorts of conveniences like a blender, kettle, alarm clocks, power adapters, insect repellant, sunscreen, shampoo and conditioner, all sorts of kitchenware, cable tv, plenty of outlets, fans, laundry detergent.. I particularly appreciated the starter kit of breakfast foods in the fridge (loaf of bread, milk, assortment of spreads/jams, bottle of water) which was great because I arrived on a Sunday and shops were closed. The owners were welcoming in a delightfully low key and unobtrusive way. They clearly know how to anticipate needs - they had set out a welcome packet for me that included a personalized welcome letter, a detailed weather forecast for the week of my stay, and a blue sky wifi credit so I could check my email. They also set out a detailed booklet in the villa that includes hepful tips for enjoying both the villa and the island. The air con in the master bedroom worked very well and was very quiet.The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable (the other mattresses looked to be the same quality). It took me about 15 minutes to walk to the Muri Beach area (beach, restaurants, night markets,, mini market..).
